DRB-HICOM unit unveils new Mahindra Scorpio
PETALING
JAYA: USF-Hicom
(M) Bhd, a subsidiary of the DRB-HICOM group, expects to sell 2,000 units of
Mahindra Scorpio vehicles this year.
The company, which started
distributing the petrol-powered MahindraScorpio mid last year, plans to launch a
diesel-powered 2.5-litre 4WD Mahindra Scorpio.
He said the company was
confident the new 4WD model, which came with a turbo system, would be a hit
with local 4WD enthusiasts.
USF-Hicom secured the franchise
to sell the Mahindra vehicle from Indian automotive company Mahindra &
Mahindra (M&M) last year.
